DEREK SEMENAS NAMED CCAC PLAYER OF THE WEEK!!

Men’s basketball’s Derek Semenas (Rosendale, Wis.) had a big week last week, and for that he has been named Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) Player of the Week.  Check out the official release:

NO. 18 Wolves Take Bite Out of No. 3 Panthers in Men’s Basketball Upset!!

The Wolves men’s basketball team may have logged one of this year’s biggest upsets in NAIA Division II hoops on Friday night. One night after the No. 1 team in the country was toppled by the No. 10 team, the No. 18 Wolves relied on a Rocky Balboa-like effort to take a bite out of the No. 3 Davenport University Panthers, coming away with a 70-59 win! Nav Singh and Chad Mazur had a big weekend at the Viterbo V-Hawks Classic.  Both were named to the all-tournament team!! Nav, as usual, had a big weekend scoring 31 total points (15.5 ppg) while hauling in 16 rebounds in 64 minutes.  Mazur, new to the Wolves this year, dropped in a cool 27 points (13.5 ppg) with eight boards in 59 minutes.  Congrats!!  For full tournament team and results, click the pic!
